Wine Labels
Labels for wines that get noticed
On a few square centimetres, it is decided how a wine is perceived. On the shelf, in the hand and in direct comparison, origin, character and quality must be recognisable at first glance. That is why we develop and produce high-quality wine labels that translate brand values with precision and perform reliably – from characterful short runs to high-performance series production. Wine follows its own rules: labels move between tradition and modernity, price positioning and a premium claim, origin and differentiation. We therefore start from the desired result. Material, finishing and technical execution are chosen from the brand logic and closely coordinated. The result is a presence that not only convinces in design, but also unfolds its effect consistently in every print run.

Material, finishing and production as one
The impact of a wine label comes from the interplay of design, material, finishing and production. Textured natural papers through to cotton create a distinctive look and feel. Hot foil stamping presents crests and brand marks with precision, while blind embossing and sculpted embossing add subtle depth and high-quality accents. What matters, however, is not the idea alone, but its reliable execution. Many labels lose impact when design and production do not mesh cleanly, materials cause problems at labelling, or results vary from print run to print run. That is why we align application, positioning and volume at an early stage. With stable processes we secure reproducible quality, reliable supply and planning certainty – for one-off projects as well as large series.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
I don’t have a finished design yet. Can you help?
Yes. Clear briefs and smaller adjustments are handled routinely by our prepress team, with a clean design finish. For larger relaunches or new developments we deliberately work with an international network of specialist partner agencies, which we recommend and involve as needed. We see ourselves here not as a replacement, but as a complement.
I already have a design. Can you optimise it?
Yes. We review designs not only technically, but also with regard to material, finishing and feasibility. The aim is that design and result match on the shelf – and that the intended effect is actually achieved.
What needs to be considered when selecting materials for wine labels?
Paper, texture and haptics shape perception to a decisive degree – often more strongly than the design. At the same time, technical aspects are critical: the right combination of material, adhesive and converting, especially for refrigeration and the ice bucket.
Does the label become more expensive with every additional finishing step?
Not automatically. What matters is how finishing is used. If we are involved early in the development process, targeted adjustments to design, format or construction can often even result in more cost-efficient solutions.
